The men of the San Diego State Chapter of Delta Upsilon are excited to offer you the opportunity to learn more about our one of a kind fraternal experience. Delta Upsilon was created in 1834 as a non-secretive fraternity as a way to provide an alternative to the corrupt Greek system. Today we remain as the only non-secretive fraternity and we strive to set the standard for upstanding Greek involvement.

This year we are taking strides to change the face of the Greek community at San Diego State. We are seeking strong leaders and upstanding citizens to contribute to our effort of providing the alternative to the typical “frat-boy” image. By joining our fraternity you will receive the following benefits:

  • Membership in the only non-secret & non-hazing men’s social fraternity
  • A family of lifelong friends brought together by shared values and fraternal experience
  • Any man who joins with a GPA of 3.0 or better, while maintaining 12 credits, will receive a $500 scholarship.

Delta Upsilon, an international men's fraternity founded in 1834, is committed to Building Better Men through our four founding principles, friendship, character, culture, & justice, that challenge our brothers to expect nothing less than excellence from themselves and others.

Delta Upsilon was founded in 1834 at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Delta Upsilon is the 6th oldest international college, Greek-letter social fraternity and is the first non-secret fraternity founded. There are no secrets with Delta Upsilon. No secret rituals. No secret oaths. No hazing.
