Here are only a few reasons why pledging a fraternity can be the most important decision of your college life:

• Fraternity chapters nationwide have a collective GPA above the All-Men's' GPA.

• All but two U.S. Presidents since 1825 have been fraternity men.

• 71% of Who's Who in America lists are fraternity members.

• 85% of the Fortune 500 executives are fraternity members.

Probably the best reason to join a fraternity is recognized when considering the size of San Diego State. State is a great university and its graduates go on to become leaders of society. Unfortunately, the student body is so large that many students sometimes feel overwhelmed and insignificant when adjusting to college life. The bothers of Delta Upsilon realize this, and consequently offer its younger members guidance through this transitional process.
